ABOUT ORGANIZATION:

Purple Day® Every Day is presented by The Anita Kaufmann Foundation and is a global, grassroots non-profit initiative with the mission of making a kinder world for people with epilepsy and brain trauma through seizure first-aid training, education and advocacy. We are known for our free seizure first-aid & educational materials and hosting various events like the one you’re attending today, Purple Day® Around The World.

Some of our key initiatives include:

• The Kindness Box – A welcome package for young or newly diagnosed patients that arrive at epilepsy facilities across the United States for an EEG.
• Heads Up for Vets! – A collaboration between The Anita Kaufmann Foundation and the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Epilepsy Centers of Excellence
• Lace Up For Epilepsy – Swap out your shoelaces for our purple laces and put some purple in your step for epilepsy awareness every day!
• The Great Purple Cupcake Project – The SWEETEST way to raise awareness about epilepsy!
