Summer is coming to a close. It has been fun, but now it is time to get back to our normal routine, and that can be quite the challenge. Returning to school can be difficult for any student, but for my girls it will be quite the task. For anyone with epilepsy, returning to school can be difficult. We have been trying our best to get back to certain bed times and wake ups in the morning, so Laura can adjust slowly instead of all at once. This year will be Emma’s first year in middle school. She will be having a lot of adjusting to do herself, so she has begun the same process. Sleep is so important for all kids. It’s the best time for their brains to, “reboot.” Plus, it’s the added bonus for parents to, “reboot,” as well!!
