The Mongolian Neurology Society has built-up a Young Neurology Research Club, consisting of medical students, residents and young doctors. This Young Researchers Club has organized for the first time the Purple Day Event in a Songinokhairkhan District in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Students from more than 20 primary schools and gymnasiums gathered to celebrate the Purple Day to improve the epilepsy awareness among the school children.
We organized competition on wall posters and poesy verses and rewarded the best posters and verses.
We thank very much the teachers and social workers from these school, also the representatives of Songinokhairkhan District Governance and Medical Center for supporting our event. Special Thanks to WHO Representative in Mongolia for sponsoring the event.
We plan to organize Purple Day Events every year in Mongolia from now on!
