Purple Day in Wauseon, OH

March 24, 2015 – March 26, 2015

Mayor Kathy Huner declared March 26, 2015 Purple Day in Wauseon, OH at the City Council meeting on March 16.

Announcements have been made at all four Wauseon Exempted Village School Buildings asking all students, teachers, and staff to wear purple On March 26.

Businesses have been asked to show support by wearing purple, even if only a ribbon, and by putting a message on their outside signs.

Chief Supermarket employees are wearing purple and the bakery department will have a purple cupcake display.

All Purple Day events in Wauseon are part of a Community Service Project for Girl Scout Troop 10401.  News of the project reached a neighboring County’s newspaper, The Defiance Crescent News, for the March 25 edition.
