At a Town Council Meeting a Proclamation was read declaring March 26th, Purple Day® Proclamation Fayetteville, West Virginia. The mayor had asked me to say a few words, which I had not prepared for, but I happily spoke to a room full of folks about Purple Day Epilepsy Awareness and Anita Kaufman Foundation.
I now have many more people interested in Purple Day Epilepsy Awareness.
A, “Paint the Town Purple” with the down town merchants is in the works! TBA
Here is a picture from the council meeting as well a picture of my son’s class after reading to them about Epilepsy and giving them Epilepsy Awareness bracelets. They’re displaying them proudly!
If you can let me know what would be the best way to get materials at a discount price I would greatly appreciate it. With all of the events coming up I’d like to have as many materials, posters or whatever that I can.
Again thank you so much for all of your support.
Blessings,
Annita
