Freeport High School in Maine will be promoting Purple Day for the second straight year. The event is led by Freeport Job For Maine’s Graduates teacher Jay Harper. Students and staff members are encouraged to wear purple on March 26th. Mr. Harper’s students make purple Tie-dye t-shirts and ribbons to sell on Purple Day with all of the proceeds going to different epilepsy organizations. In 2014 over 200 members of the school wore purple.
