Corpus Christi School in NJ will be Participating in Purple Day 2018

March 26, 2018

We are very excited that our school will be participating in Purple Day again this year!  Corpus Christi School is a Catholic School in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.  We have over 400 students in grades PreK3 through 8th grade.  On Monday, March 26, the students will be allowed to “dress down” in purple instead of wearing their usual school uniforms.  To participate the children will donate $2.  The money raised will go to a local epilepsy foundation.

The school nurse and I give the students purple ribbon stickers and handouts that help them understand what epilepsy is and why we’re raising awareness.  This year again AKF will be sending bookmarks for the children.
