I graduated with a degree in business administration. I was planning to go for my CPA & CFP once I had a couple years in the books at a mortgage brokerage. However, my epilepsy has returned, forcing me to surrender my driver’s license.
Although, my epilepsy has returned and uprooted my current plans/goals, I am trying to find a good match for me to get my career going, test my limits, and see how my epilepsy frequency reacts (focal and/or clonic tonic).
One of my biggest goals is to help someone who is experiencing focal seizures but doesn’t know how to properly explain it to their parents, school nurse and/or doctor. When my epilepsy began returning, it was such a help having websites such as purpledayeveryday.org to look up questions and/or symptoms I was facing. I’ve noticed that when doctors can tell you really understand the situation, they’re more willing to be the most honest and straight forward with you.
