  • Purple Day® For Epilepsy Awareness Around The World

    APPLICATION DEADLINE JANUARY 31, 2018

    The Anita Kaufmann Foundation (AKF), the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida (EACF), and our event sponsors are providing financial assistance to those who might not otherwise be able to participate in this very special Purple Day® event for epilepsy awareness.

    Generally, award amounts are up to $500 for an individual and up to $1,000 for a family. Exceptions can be made depending on distance and other circumstances. The award is for travel, lodging and the entrance fee to Disney.

    Applicants need to submit a realistic budget identifying expenses that will be incurred. The award decision will be made after proof of registration has been submitted.

    Funds will be remitted after the event. The grant recipient must submit receipts, and must attend both the brunch at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the purple lighting of Spaceship Earth® at Epcot®.

    Please note that submitting a Needs Based Grant Application does not guarantee an award.
