I am the office manager for a Neurology practice. I have actually worked within the Neurology field since I was 20. I am now 38. We see a lot of epilepsy patients, some young and old. I have a strong passion and advocacy for this medical condition as my father suffers with epilepsy since having a stroke, and a close friend of mines lost her daughter at age 6 to SUDEP recently. She suffered with Dravet Syndrome. I want to continue to help educate anyone regarding epilepsy regardless if they know or don’t know someone that suffers with it. I want to make sure people are educated about what to do even if they witness someone having a seizure activity, whether at school, on the street, or in the workplace. Together we can make a difference.
