Alyssa Holmes

Welcome to my crazy fun, maybe a bit boring at times life! I could begin from the start of where it all began…about 12 years ago…or just continue with how life has changed being diagnosed with epilepsy.
I went through many ups and downs, denials and finally came to reality. I have epilepsy and there is no changing it.
Thankfully I found a very caring young man almost 7 years ago and have been married 4 years in August 2020. I know I take him for granted sometimes because he is more of my caretaker at times of need and I couldn’t ask for a better man.             In October 2019 we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. She was 3 weeks early, but strong and passed every test they threw at her. We were in the hospital for only 3 days despite her weighing just over 4lbs!! At 8mo you would never know she was a preemie, looking fabulous!                           As a family we moved several different times, Colorado (Where I originally grew up), to Missouri, and final destination a small town in Kansas. Colorado was becoming extremely stressful where I was having seizures weekly to almost every other day. I had an absense seizure crashing my vehicle into a neighborhood tree, falling off a bicycle fracturing the zygomatic bone (cheek bone) and chipping my tooth, and knew I could not live my life like this any longer.  Anyways, moving forward, I ended up pregnant in Missouri and it’s history from there!! I love caring for our baby and beginning a photography business by having her as my little model. It keeps me motivated waking up to her smiling face. I love our lives’ together and my husband is so supportive in everything I do.
