Purple Day 2016 Croatia

March 26, 2016

Dear friends,

We greet you from a little Croatian medieval town of Samobor, and we want to share our first Purple Day experience with you!

We represent young volunteer and charity organization from Samobor, named “Kad bi svi…” which means “If We All…“ (could help).
It was a beautiful day, our first Purple Day!
We held the first Samobor Purple Bicycle Ride the same day as the traditional Purple cycling event in our capital of Zagreb has been held, but our was in the afternoon so some of us could have ridden a bike in both races! We all showed a lot of support and understanding from our hearts for the problems of our fellow-citizens and all the people suffering from epilepsy.  Many people came to support the event despite the cloudy and rainy weather and although our first Purple route was short, only a ten minutes drive around the town center. Croatian Association for Epilepsy helped us with t-shirts, badges and flyers for the occasion.
